Pretty easy if you've installed car stereos before. There is a Bimmertech video on Youtube that walks you through it. I highly recommend it as a guide to removing the parts required to mount and connect the device to the screen. Unfortunately, at the time I installed mine, there was no step-by-step process from the actual vendor. The wireless carplay is a bit inconsistent due to the automatic launch, but I suspect it's an issue with the carplay software itself rather than the device. Fast shipping and support seems reliable from what I've heard from others on the forums, although I haven't used them. Recommend this instead of the default idrive software.
