It has some flaws but the product is usable.

The kit as a whole is serviceable, and the pen functions properly, but there are concerns about the quality of its construction, and it will probably need to be finished or fixed after purchase. After the initial session with the kid, we had to solder one of the microswitches into place before we could use the pen again.

Pros

Even a child of five will find that their first quality set is easy to handle and manage. There are two temperature settings (pla and abs) with additional 0.1-degree fine-tuning.

Cons

Poor construction: a five-year-old was able to break one of the plastic supply and return microswitches by pressing the button.

Has pros: Handle color matches. Plastic is good Different cons: The handle broke on the third day. Does not heat up.
