When I took this out of the box I also thought the bag was smaller than I expected. But after actually using it to fly an airplane, I found that it fits perfectly under the seat in front of me. It contained my usual purse, a few gifts for the person I was visiting, medication, and boxed electronics. The back cover slips easily over the handle of my suitcase, but not so loose that the bag can slip. Before buying it, I really went to all the shops and doubted the price for it. But after a long journey with several changes, I was very happy with the purchase.
