BUY THIS. I measure for a living - all day, every day - and it's absolutely the best and most essential accessory I own. The magnet is incredibly strong and the measuring tape is very easy to put on and take off around your waist. Thanks to this, I finally don't have to change my jeans every month or so! Please note: to detach the tape measure from the magnet, you must pull the tape measure DOWN, not up. Pulling up does not detach the band from the magnet, it simply pulls the entire magnetic clip off your belt. I like this function very much. Intelligent design! My only concern is what will happen if my tape measure inevitably breaks. The product only comes with an adhesive pad to stick the magnet to the tape measure and the adhesive is so strong that I can't imagine it being reusable - I highly doubt removing the adhesive pad and putting on a new one Tape measure can be glued. You may have to buy a brand new one if your band breaks.
