I don't usually wear knee pads when riding in Long Island, New York. cozy couple. But with falling leaves and rain lately, the trail was muddy and I really didn't feel like going down and kneeling, so I went in search of a light pair of pedals that would protect me from minor falls. /number of hits. The reviews for these 7iDPs seemed compelling so I decided to give them a try and gosh they are amazing. When you first put them on they feel so comfortable that you probably think they'll slip off while riding, but somehow they stay perfectly in place. Also super comfortable. I definitely think they can be a bit warm for hot weather rides, but I will most likely only wear them in fall/spring when weather conditions are unstable. I also like the pad length - it's high enough on the thigh that the pads can be paired with suede or briefs. The protection seems to be just what I need - haven't taken it off yet, but the padding seems to protect what needs protection and isn't too bulky. Definitely recommend!
