This item is great for old MacBook Pro

I've been messing around with cables with my 2015 MacBook Pro for a long time. I often use a DVD drive and an external hard drive for Time Machine backups. Second external hard drive for my iTunes library and various flash drives. With 2 Thunderbolt ports and 2 USB 3 ports, this was annoying at times. Not to mention the need to regularly restart Time Machine. This hub works great with multiple drives and can power a portable external hard drive.
