I live in a very hot climate. Temperatures can reach over 110 degrees Fahrenheit if you park your car in direct sunlight. I had one of these air fresheners installed on the center air vent under the touchscreen in my car. It was a hot day and she burst. Liquid inside dripped onto the air conditioner controls. I tried cleaning it with a tissue but it ruined the material. The rubber part it went through has been increased and the plastic covering the AC screen controls has a strip that goes down and cannot be removed. I went to the dealer to ask if they had any special cleaning tools and they said "he ate the stuff". The only way to fix this is to replace these parts. Since they have electrical components, they cost $906 to replace before tax and installation. It's a real pity because now my car looks very ugly in this place. I do not recommend this product if you live in a high temperature area.
