Inaccurate

Low accuracy. It's hard to get a straight cut, I think the blade is slightly angled so that when you place the edge of your perfectly straight piece of paper against the edge of the guide, it cuts at a slight angle. So instead of using a leading edge, you should look at the line along which the cut is made, "by eye," so to speak. The rulers don't seem to be long enough and need to be printed out to have more room, especially closer to the blade and/or on either side of the blade. Didn't think of it without an extended ruler, but it might help. The blade lifting handle is apt to slip out of your fingers (odd flat shape, quite awkward to pick up and put down) so it tends to pop loudly if you're not careful to put it down gently. Works, cuts well, but at least mine isn't accurate, so what's the point? I think I got what I paid for. Of course, if you just want to cut something no larger than 4 inches and no less than 2 inches long and don't mind checking for straightness, then this is it. If you are looking for something more useful and accurate I would recommend getting a better quality paper cutter. Don't pay attention to straightness, then of course it will work out.
