Review on Get Chopping with Chef'n Garliczoom Garlic Chopper! One Size, Vibrant Green by Wendy Ducy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've owned mine for almost 2 years, stunned by bad reviews

UPDATE! I came back here to order a new unit because I finally lost the top of mine (the connectors broke years ago but it was still working great until I lost it recently - it's over 4 years old). years since I have owned your device). Now I see that the product has changed completely. I'm so pissed. I loved this shop. But this new product has a seller warning from FakeSpot and the product has changed so I am no longer maintaining my 5 star rating as of July 2020. I think I'll keep looking for a cover for the old one or find another one. I just don't trust this new design. I bought it in 2016 and use it almost every day. I have no idea what happens to people who have trouble cleaning. I only run the blades under hot water and then the rest of the device. I let it dry on the shelf with the top flap open, where it will be stored after a quick shake. Yes, if you leave sticky garlic on sharp blades, you'll likely pay for it once it's dried. So. Don't do that. It takes less than 30 seconds to place it underwater. And loosening the garlic is easy too. It opens at the top and center, so I usually open the top first and scrape it into my bowl. Then open the middle section, carefully remove the blade (because it's sharp, so handle it carefully and set it aside). Then remove the chopped garlic from the rest of the device. Then just go to the sink, which is most likely in the kitchen, and run the components under hot water. Let dry. Did! Neither the cutting board nor the knives touched the garlic. (You'll have to peel it, but just use one of those rubber tubes to roll up each clove and the skin will come off in an instant.)

Pros
  • Home and kitchen
Cons
  • Big and bulky
