Nice shower head. I really like being able to see the temperature readings (along with the corresponding color), especially since it doesn't require a battery. The shower head ensures good water distribution. Both the shower head and bassinet are plastic but appear to be of good quality. Also, it's a good size/weight to operate it by hand without much effort. The hose is metal, good quality. Overall I am very satisfied with the product. No wasted packaging - I was surprised to see how small the box was, but it actually had everything in it and it was nice to see that the packaging wasn't wasted. to make the hose longer. But that's mostly just a limitation when trying to bathe a dog crouched at the other end of the tub. For general use, the length of the hose is suitable. UPDATE: From 2.5 months of use, the temperature function is correctly interrupted. We first noticed this a few weeks ago: after the temp turned red/flashing, it stayed there even after the water temp dropped. It seemed to get better the next day, but at times it seemed to be around 10 degrees or a bit erratic when reading. It was really funny today. During my shower, I watched as it jumped every half second - between temperatures ranging from 25 degrees to 125 degrees - and switched from red to blue (i.e. too hot to cold) in the space of a second (while my actual temperature was somewhere in the stayed in the 90s). It's hard to miss when the showerhead lights up in schizophrenic disco mode along with the LCD display. Really disappointed. We spent more than the planned price on it, motivated by the fact that "it's better to spend more and get a product that lasts longer". And it was brilliant when it worked. But while splashes of water can hold up just fine, it seems we'll live with one absurd disco shower until we crack down and shell out money for another. Buyers be careful. **** Update: still broken (wrong temperature) but less unstable. In hindsight, I strongly suspect that the thermometer function broke because our water could be so hot. It may not crack on others unless exposed to very high temperatures. Still, one star because, even if it were true, the packaging didn't explicitly warn of this weakness.
