Review on 🌿 Garnier SkinActive Micellar Skincare Routine Kit: Gentle Care for Sensitive Skin by Michelle Sanders

Garnier makes good and affordable products. I've used many over the years. My daughter's holy grail is Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. She and I are both good at skincare and makeup and every time I try a new cleanser and have a bad reaction to it due to my extremely sensitive skin, she tells me I just have to try her favorite product. I love moisturizers and sheet masks so I was happy when I found this kit that includes micellar cleansing water, a large bath of moisturizer (that can be used 3 different ways!) at a very affordable price. I won't lie, I had serious doubts that cleanser water would remove all makeup and heavily applied mascara from my face. Having never used it before, I followed the directions, used a cotton swab and removed my makeup. Although it felt like water (no foam), I was amazed at how easily the makeup came off. I even used another cotton swab with toner on it and was happy to see it was clean after wiping my face! I love sheet masks. I use one almost every day. This kit only comes with one and has a mesh liner that you remove after application. The sheet mask is easy to apply and nestles well on the face. After 15 minutes I took it off and massaged the rest of the serum in well. I also used the serum left in the pack on my hands and neck (no waste here!). My face was very hydrated. The downside is that I wish the cutouts for the eyes and mouth were a bit wider as my mouth was a bit covered in the corners and the outsides of my eyes were covered which was a bit of an unnerving feeling during those 15 minutes. Also, the nasal valve was large enough to cover my entire nose, which is rare. Another shortcoming, there is only 1 mask in the set, but other products are sufficient for several weeks - I would like to take 4 masks in a set! They claim that the moisturizer can be used in 3 different ways - as a day or night cream or as a mask. I only tried it as a day cream and I didn't put on make-up that day. It's very thick and creamy and my face felt very moisturized during this extremely hot and humid North Carolina weather. My face felt great after application, I had no irritation (I have very sensitive skin) and it looked very moisturized. My face didn't feel sticky after it dried a bit. I don't know how makeup works if you don't let it dry/soak into the skin before applying makeup. I plan to try it because it really can work as a makeup primer. If makeup doesn't work after applying this moisturizer I will definitely use it again but only as a night cream. Overall I really can't say anything bad about these 3 products. I definitely recommend it. Garnier, please put more than 1 sheet mask in the kit 😉!
