The Neat scanner was a great device for a while, but due to the cost of reading time, paper recognized or not, forget it. There is no tech support, you can't get through on the phone. I've had mine for almost 2 years. I may have scanned 500 pages but let's say 1000. Now it doesn't recognize any paper no matter what I do and it doesn't work. None of the online tutorials work. I emailed support for help and they immediately assigned me a case number with confirmation of a response within 48 hours. It has been almost a week now and my email reply on the case has gone unanswered 72 hours later. Better buy something else.
