I have a 2015 Kia Optima and the CD player mounts are perfect as the dashboard is slightly tilted towards the driver. The phone sits at pretty good eye level and literally next to the steering wheel, so you can quickly and easily tap the screen while driving without worrying (don't text while driving). Although this particular bracket fits into the CD slot, I always clip it in place so it doesn't fall out. A few bumps and the mount will bounce up and down as it moves due to the weight of the phone (I have an iPhone XSMax). Another major issue is the phone's unlocking mechanism. As with any other phone mount, there are two sides that hold the phone in place. To release, press the button and your hands should automatically move from the spot. This one isn't going anywhere. This one is very very slow to unblock the phone. It's pretty annoying when you're in a hurry. I probably wouldn't buy the same mount again but it works for me. At least for now!
