Solved the Problem for my opinion
My husband needed a place to put his laptop or a dinner tray in addition to his end table by the couch. The wood looks nicer than a similar plastic table setup and it does not wobble. It looks good with the rest of the furniture in the room and is dependably solid in structure. It completes the sitting spot with all that stuff that rotates in and out on the tables.
