Review on Cuisinart Classic Round Waffle Maker - WMR-C Model by Shane Black

After ten years of very little use, the two screws holding the top plate of the handle gradually became loose and the handle eventually fell off. I stuck a skewer into one of the screw holes so I could pry open the top panel. Not at all happy with Cuisinart's response to my complaint. At first they offered to pay me to send the device back for repairs, but changed their mind when they realized the device was over three years old. This is clearly a manufacturing defect. Likewise, Cuisinart is a company that doesn't stand behind its products!
