The waistband gaps in the back, so I'll need a belt to keep it from doing so. Since my bum is small, this is not an abnormal issue for me. Otherwise, they fit well and feel great. I'm short (5'1") and the length actually fits me without having to roll or hem them. The leg width and hip fit are really nice. I haven't worn them for my ride-along yet, so I can't say how durable they are, but they feel like they will do fine. I will be ordering these again, since I need two pairs and am happy with these pants.
