I bought a water bath for soft-boiled eggs. You place the egg on the egg stand/holder, place the top of the egg on top, lift the spring weight and release to reveal the top of the egg. I usually do this twice to make sure the tip is cut off. When you twist to peel off the top, the top of the eggshell usually comes off immediately. If it doesn't come off, just pull it off with your fingers. Then take a small spoon and scoop out the egg to eat or put it on a plate. It's easier than trying to crack and peel a whole egg. That saves a lot of time.
