So far so good, I got my share. 9 feet for $95. The upscaling was evident from the get-go, but if you don't believe me, here's Dark Souls for PS3 before and after. Notice how bad the aliasing on the sign was before and how much better it got after. (The color difference is due to my phone's poor quality camera.) The thing is that it works so well for PS3/Xbox/Wii because the output is below 1080. Anything that outputs Original 1080 or higher will see little to no improvement from this. Cable. (4k can actually degrade the quality, judging by the screenshots I've seen.) But then again, it works great in bringing new life to the latest generation of consoles. Be careful though, I've heard that many of the ends of this cable will fail after just a few months of use. Don't forget to register your guarantee! The other thing is that this cable clearly doesn't carry 5.1 surround sound, which I think is absurd for a cable of this price, if true. Is it generally worth it? Probably not unless you have extra cash to spare, especially not at full price. (I only bought it because I started playing my PS3 again after being spoiled by PC gaming.) But if this cable ever drops to around 60-70 I would recommend it to any console gamer or even 480 cartoons / watch anime.
