Cooper Desk Pro XL is better than I expected. As shown in their ad, it tilts a few degrees and also has an adjustable height. The faux leather tabletop prevents paper from slipping off the tabletop. As seen in the photo, it is not smooth, so we fold it in half on the liner. It's a pleasure to write on as the leather-like surface offers some "give" compared to normally hardened plastic or wood. The pen holder includes a rubber strip that also holds writing implements so they sit better when the top is tilted. I tried to capture it in the last photo. I have included additional photos of the retractable book reader as it is a wonderful accessory not described. It is saved under the desktop. The legs are laid out as in the photo. The bar on which the book sits is also adjustable. This little feature is very handy for storing both large and small books. Since the work surface is not slippery, books do not slide off. I like this accessory very much. The drawer is large enough for your remote control, pens, glasses, etc. No more searching for crayons or a remote control. Even a large iPhone fits in one box. It's finally comfortable to slip under your ski legs to get in and out of bed. If you want to keep them from slipping, simply attach felt squares. Voila, your feet won't slip anymore. For the money, this desktop is a dream come true. I use mine most evenings to journal, read the Bible, and paint with crayons and/or gel pens. The desktop works exactly as advertised. Maybe even better (considering the book stand). I plan to buy for my sister.
