I live south of many Northern California wildfires. Smoke and ash often spread over my city, and the latter can fall down in snowdrifts, potentially damaging cars. Since I don't have the ability to park in a garage, this cover was a huge relief! I quickly put it on when the ash started and later I pulled it off and shook off the ash drifts - better than trying to wash the car and worrying the acid in the ash would eat into the paint. It might seem like a small thing in a situation like this, but it's amazing what the lack of one thing to worry about can do. The cover is easy to put on and take off, fits my car perfectly and looks good. It seems sturdy enough and has straps for extra security that it stays in place.
