I am a knifemaker myself, so I can appreciate a quality blade. For the price of this knife, you absolutely cannot beat the craftsmanship. The edge is absolutely screaming sharp and very thin. The balance is great, but my gosh, the most surprising this is the level of quality control. The place where the blade meets the handle is absolutely square. The bushing that fixes the blade to the handle is brass; again, no slop. The handle is made from two pieces of exotic hardwood with the joint being totally square.I will update this review if it falls apart, but I genuinely do not see that ever happening.
