Review on πŸ”’ Ultimate Protection and Style: Viking Cycle Ironborn Armored Motorcycle Textile Riding Biker Jacket for Women by Davon Man

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Made from quality materials

I've spent hours looking for a good jacket to wear while riding my motorcycle. I relied heavily on good product reviews. There were many photos on this jacket that I really liked. It looked a lot longer than I expected but due to COVID I didn't mind. A lot of reviews I read said to buy a size up. If I had honestly ordered my signature stuff I would have kept it. This jacket is very well made. I didn't worry about whether this jacket could hold up or not. The "Armor" insets were very interesting and since no one bothered to comment on them I snapped a few pictures. When I went to try this jacket on, I felt I needed to size it down a bit. The armor is flexible plastic, but not flimsy. However, due to the way it was packaged, the elbow and shoulder panels were curved in an odd way and they are much larger than I expected and they made the jacket very heavy. The insert on the back is made of foam, so it's softer and not as heavy. The thermal insert is only insulated in the core area, the part that goes into the sleeves was thin and could serve as an extra windproof layer, but that doesn't help to warm hands when riding in cool weather. One of the main advantages of this jacket were the pockets. LOTS of pockets. I'm 5ft 3in and 145lbs, I'm not tall but I'm not super petite either and based on reviews I ordered a large. The stripes on the back allow the jacket to be adjusted for fit which was nice except I don't have a large chest so the upper sleeves and chest area of the jacket was too big and baggy for me.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
