You fix it. No defect. But most of all, they connect.
Excellent connectors, perfectly assembled. Wires are connected but easily disconnected (lightning). Thick conductors, the caliper says .025 inch thick, that means 22 AWG is thick enough. Works great as power connectors. I cut the wings off the sockets and use them to connect to PCB connectors. They are ideal for HiLetgo or Ximimark slide potentiometers with pins protruding from the board side.
