It's okay, not cool, just okay.

I've had the Nimble for about 2 weeks now and I feel I can give an accurate review. I've been living in my class A full time for the last few months and I really need something to alert me in case my speakers go out. Because the temperature here is reaching the 80's and will soon be in the high 90's. We only did this test the last 2 weeks when I was at MOH otherwise the dogs were not left alone until we could verify the Nimble was working properly. First, as you can see in my 1st photo, I installed a digital temperature sensor. directly above the nimble to make sure of accuracy. In the first picture, the current temperature inside the camper is 75 degrees, which I know from the digital and mercury thermometers we used for the test, but Nimble says it's 69.2 degrees. It's pretty obvious that if I was away from the camper and saw this, this wouldn't be a cause for concern. BUT the temp is actually 6 degrees warmer, I'd be concerned if I saw it's 75 or higher because I have both AC's set to 70 when I'm not at home. The second picture is on the right inside the camper and as you can see it's not exact either. Also, the Nimble has been on shore power since 9am this morning so the batteries were only on from 9am to 1.30pm today when I reconnected it to shore power and lost 54% power in that short time. So make sure you're hooked up to shore power if you want it to run all day. Another thing I HATE about it is that I can't prevent notifications from being sent to my email. I get both text and email notifications. I just need an SMS notification. I have too many emails for work every day. Also let me say that I updated Nimble about 4 times before taking these photos. So why 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 because at least it works (though not exactly). I just need to know that when I check the reading, the temperature goes up 6 degrees.

Pros
  • ACCURATE AND ALWAYS ON: Real-time updates of temperature, humidity and heat index readings minute by minute – no gaps!
Cons
  • Concise Instructions
