I wanted to take something more expensive, but for multimedia and games this is enough, the sound is cool, the compact size will fit into any case, and it was important for me that it did not interfere with the cooling of the video card. I purchased it as a replacement for the audio card that was already built into the computer. For surround sound in games and watching movies with a richer sound. I wanted to take something more expensive. The drivers hold themselves up effectively, there is a program for tweaking, and the wires offer a modest amount of functionality.
