First of all my passe-partout on two sheets of cardboard has lost all stickiness. It was the first day I owned it! Not cool! It should cut materials with a thickness of 3 mm. I was very happy about that because it was going to be the most powerful machine in its price range. If I wanted something with a maximum thickness of 2mm I would go for something cheaper. Tried to cut a 2mm thick cork oak. When cutting long straight lines, it works well. But anything with small changes is likely to break the material's alignment with the mat if not securely bonded. Even then it was a bit doubtful. However, it failed to perform the tasks I received it for and I cannot return it. I'm sure it's good for paper and fabric projects. No manual configuration is required and it is very easy to use. So don't let my rating fool you. The main disadvantage of this product is the mat. It loses its stickiness almost immediately, which dramatically affects performance. I recommend cleaning it after each use and using a low tack Krylon glue. SUMMARY If I wanted to use this product for board, I would buy a cheaper machine. It didn't do what I bought it for and I can't return it even though I bought it on Prime and within 30 days of purchase. I have an expensive card cutter. Maybe it's for you, but that's not what I bought it for.
