This is her second 24 liter backpack and I am amazed at how it has held up throughout the school year. Why did I buy this backpack for my 7 year old in 1st grade? Last year I got her a pink and gray 19 liter backpack for kindergarten and I was amazed at how it has held up and is still in great condition and is still in great condition today. It wears out slowly but doesn't fall apart like other backpacks. She now uses her old 19 liter travel backpack and her black and purple 24 liter backpack for school. My 7 year old daughter loves it so much she wants a new one for 2nd grade in the same color and size. Although this one is still in great shape and has been worn very little. Yes, there are some minor issues, it is very difficult to get to and use the front small pocket. And the mesh on the sides takes a little time to pour water into a certain size bottle. But that's all. Everything else is perfect, it fits a lot and can handle a lot of weight while still being comfortable to wear with soft, contoured straps. So both the price of this backpack and its excellent quality are worth it! I would most likely recommend them to friends and families!
