Bought from my wife, an avid tap dancer who she absolutely loves and is the envy of her tap group. They fit her perfectly and are strictly of the highest professional quality. The entire sole and heel of these shoes are made of metal, so the shoes are quite stiff, and the knocking is very strong and loud. These tap shoes are not intended for beginners as they can be quite slippery on some dance floors. However, they are very beautiful, very well made and very effective on the feet of experienced tap dancers. My wife absolutely loves them and her band is considering making them the standard for everyone.
