The leg/watch rails are in a 5/7 position on the back, so they need to be draped over something that allows the legs to touch a flat surface. Sounds easy right? Not as much. And because it's light, don't put it anywhere, as the vibrations will eventually cause it to fall on the floor (e.g. not on a TV, not on a speaker, not in a heavy traffic location). However, I will admit that it took a good hit to the ground in fine style with no damage. So if you like the picture you will love to have a clock but keep other clocks to help you tell the time.
