Looking for socks to keep my child's feet warm in cold winters I came across these. After a few cold weather rides and playing in the snow, I can safely say they are excellent. My toddler complains that his gloves sometimes don't warm his hands enough, but his feet always get fried in these socks. He is very active and these socks went through the ring during the last cold season. They still look great, the elastic is holding up great and they wash and dry really well (ie no pilling or strings sticking out). They wick moisture away so his feet don't get too hot (something which he has complained about in the past with other wool socks). The inner layer is very soft against his skin. And I love neutral colors that can be combined with any outfit. Highly recommended.
