The phone is not protected

Was crossbody style when I had to run after the twins and the phone fell completely out of the case and broke. If the phone snapped into a case it would be perfect. Unfortunately I have to return it, but I need a protective cover. It's very slim and I can't find a case that isn't bulky and protective.
