These speakers sound great; They reproduce the mids and highs with amazing clarity, and while the bass output doesn't shake the house in any way, the bass response is more than adequate for a speaker set of this size. The instructions provided are brief but provide all the necessary details for a proper fitting and installation. I chose to use a spring clip wall plate for my wiring for a cleaner and more versatile installation; If you are installing fixed speakers, you can also install a fixed connection point. The most time-consuming part of the installation is deciding where to place them, lining up the holes, and routing the wiring. Once these steps are eliminated, the speakers can be easily installed. Once installed, the speakers are fairly unobtrusive, protruding just half an inch from the wall. Stencils are provided for clean results when painting the speaker mesh. I'm happy with the color of the mesh as such; They don't contrast too much with the eggshell white they're set to - I'll dye the mesh to match next time I do the walls. Overall, I'm very pleased with both the clean aesthetics of the Leviton SGC65 and the sound quality.
