I couldn't afford the official cable and a friend recommended it to me. Everything seemed to work fine at first, but problems started to appear on the first day of use. For some reason my audio cuts out when I close the app, unplug and plug the cable back in, or sometimes just randomly. I'm playing vrchat and either I can hear everyone but my mic isn't working, or I can speak but can't hear anything. It took me months and hours of research to finally realize it was really just a cord. I tested these issues with the official connection cable that a relative gave me and everything worked great. Please save money in the long run and just buy the official cable. I regret this purchase and when I realized it never worked properly it was too late to return it.
