Can't see very far with this, but it gives you a REALLY nice wide view of everything within 15ft of you. It's a bit awkward to adjust the straps to fit, and it's a little bulky, but tolerably balanced. Mine stopped working reliable about a year after I got it, a short in the wire that comes from the battery case right at the point where it enters the light by your forehead. If I move too fast or bump the light it shorts and shuts off--so it's pretty much broken and very difficult to use at this point. Aside from that, I really liked the wild field of view and it works really good if you have to find something you lose in the dark, or if you are hiking in the dark as you can see all around and beside you--your full field of vision.It eats batteries fast on it's high setting, not sure if that can be fixed, but I can get several hours of good light out of it before i have to swap batteries. I don't use the lower settings as they are not bright enough for me, so I don't know how long those would last.
