First of all this lantern was well packaged surrounded by nice soft foam. When I opened the box and saw how it was packaged, I had no doubts that it would not suffer any damage in transit. This is something I worry about when ordering fragile items. Taking this lantern out of the box and feeling the strength and quality of the materials it's made of makes me really feel like this thing is well made and will stand up to the elements and whatever rocks and pebbles it throws at me during my ride could meet. I was also happy to see that this light comes with all the cables you need for installation. Many other lights are only light and you need to buy a wiring harness separately. Not this one. That's all you need. I will also add that the wiring is pretty solid and not cheap they just added it to make you feel like you got a deal. All connections are simply plugged into each other, making installation as easy as possible. As for the brightness of the light. WOW! It's insanely bright, but the coolest part is that it's a multicolored light that you can program into different flashing sequences: red, then blue, then green, etc. All controlled via an app on your smartphone thanks to the included Bluetooth receiver module. . (See photos) You can even make this thing dance and blink to your music. The bottom line, I'm glad I bought this light. It's great to have an extra bright white light when you need it, but it's also a lot of fun to have colored lights for an impromptu dance party lol. It looks like a quality built light and having all the necessary cables to get it working makes it an amazing kit. Added Bluetooth receiver, smartphone app, etc. I really recommend this light if you are looking for a light bar.
