Who decided to make the back of the battery compartment ROUND? If you place it with the thermometer reading up, it will constantly turn on its side since the back of the device is ROUND. That's stupid. Also, it's not as fast as I was hoping. Not bad, but it takes a little time to reach the right temperature. Finally, why have tenths of degrees on an appliance that probably isn't accurate to 5 degrees Fahrenheit AND used for meat at 135-160 degrees on the grill. or in the oven? I don't care if my steak is 135.1 degrees Fahrenheit or 135.2 degrees Fahrenheit. It's just stupid. I know pastry chefs might care, but they still need a better thermometer than this. That's all I can say about it! The round back is REALLY STUPID.
