Read other negative reviews about this product. You are 100% right. You cannot open the card door far enough to remove cards when the cage is on. Design 101 - MALFUNCTION. Also, when installed correctly, there is little wobble between the camera frames. This is most likely because they are not sticking to the bottom of the cage. There is a tiny nail peg at the top, but nothing for the bottom of the device. TO FAIL. Why would anyone solve all these problems without proper testing? Note: I bought a Zacuto BMPCC 6k cage and although it was solid and had double mounting holes, it covered the rubber protectors over the input/output ports and allowed everything to be connected. very embarrassing. I'm still looking for a suitable cage.
