Broke after a month - New lighting

It was expensive and I expected it to last a while. A candle broke after a month of use. Each candle has two lights inside. One lights the flame and the other lights the pillar candle. Part of the rod broke within 30 days. It's like having a very expensive tealight now. Not happy at all. I don't want to go through the exchange process. What royal pain!
