At 4 inches long this is not a huge hair clip but it is a good size. distinct at the bottom (with a slight gap) and have long teeth inside, all of which help hold the hair regardless of its thickness. The flower detail is beautiful. I think it's enough to add a little something but not too much. It can be worn really casual or even dressy. I don't think it's too young. I would never have considered buying a claw clip with a decorative detail, but they caught my attention. Whether sideways or in a casual (or neat) bun, claw clips and hair ties are a daily part of my life.
