it was a lot easier than I expected. I was concerned that I would not be able to get the full translation. My first attempt had a chaotic effect. look wrinkled and lots of randomly exposed base layers. I kinda liked it. tried again and it was more complete coverage. the third time and I think I figured it out. Apply a thin coat first for full transfer, let dry until translucent, then apply a second coat. let dry until clear. it doesn't take 5 minutes. Apply the transfer to the nail. Press the nail and edges. While the glue is still tacky, smooth out the creases and lift as quickly as possible. There may be a few open areas, but stick foil to cover those areas. he will pick up the foil immediately. The only complaint I can have is that there is no shiny silver in my set. but rose gold is my second favorite metallic so I'm happy. Glue worked fine for me, though
