My 9 to 4 year olds loved this product. Everyone started with the first letter of their name, so it was everyone's turn. The picture guide of which sticks to use is great. The children could choose the chopsticks that form their name and with a little concentration they did it. A young boy had trouble writing the letter "K" because it was difficult for him to get up from the middle and fall from the same spot. This helped him visualize and transfer it to paper. The paper instructions are very delicate, so I recommend laminating them. The sticks need to be placed directly over the pins and pulled straight up, so I wouldn't recommend them for kids under the age of four.
