I bought these to replace the cheap fans I originally bought to build my PC. My original fans had both a 3-pin connector and a large 4-pin connector, which wasn't easy on the eye. These new fans only have a 4-pin PWM connector, so I no longer have to try to hide an extra bulky connector. My original fans had white LEDs, which I thought was nice. However, the backlight was annoying because the brightness of the LEDs changed depending on the speed of the fans. I was able to adjust fan settings in BIOS to reduce this, but it was still annoying. There are no LEDs on these fans, so that's no longer a problem for me. I prefer my case to be a little darker. Helps showcase the LEDs I actually want to see on my PC. These new fans can spin faster than my other fans, but I'm not sure I absolutely needed that. However, it's good to know that if something goes wrong in my case, these fans are better at moving air than my previous fans. I like that they have a PWM hub. This made hiding the cables a little easier than having to plug each one into a separate connector on my motherboard. Also appreciate that they include mounting screws and extra footrests in 2 different colors. Very happy with my purchase and am considering replacing the last two fans in my case with others in the future. I will update my review if my experience changes for better or worse.
