Unit worked well out of the box but was not rated for high vibration (motorcycle) conditions. The one I bought broke after less than a month of use. The cause of the failure was two large chokes breaking off the circuit board. They had to be attached to the board with epoxy but were only held on with pins. The second thing that worries me is the amount of heat generated by the smaller module next to the charging pad. It gets almost so hot you can burn yourself. I wouldn't recommend this unless you plan on epoxy coating the PCB first.
