This is a really nice scooter. It is not going to win any speed awards, but I do not think that was the products goal. The speed is roughly 7mph which varies slightly depending on the weight of the rider. 7 MPH is perfect for my kids and if they fall off I do not have to worry about them or plan funerals. The battery life/range is spot on as gauged with my bikes computer. My kids ride during broad daylight so the LED functionality means very little to us, but everything seems well done. The controls being operated by foot took some time to get use to for my kids, but are intuitive. I would say the learning curve is about 20-30 minutes depending on if it is your brightest kid or . You know what I mean.Great electric scooter perfect for kids 6-10 and up to 12 if they are average size or less.2/3 week update:Still going strong. Added photo. We still have not drained the battery yet with hours of riding sessions. My kids have used this thing everyday for weeks and it still runs like day one. This is a stellar scooter.
