Good fryer but read phone app permissions

This is my first fryer. I was skeptical of air fryers but have barely used my oven in the 2-3 weeks since I got it. The controls are simple and intuitive. I like presets that make it easy to pop in groceries and press a button. I can use the preset temperature and time or adjust it to my liking. Use a preset and I can manually enter the temperature and time instead. (Remember that manually entering the temperature and time doesn't remind you to shake or turn the food.) I like that it's quiet while I'm working. I like that the non-stick inner basket makes cleaning easier. There are a few things I would like to improve on this air fryer. test of time. I think it would be better if the inner basket and its handle were attached to the basket instead of a plastic handle rather than one piece. A piece of clear plastic covering the button that detaches the inner basket from the lower basket looks like it's about to fall off. The biggest problem in my opinion is the app itself. There are things this app is allowed to do on your phone, which is why I refuse to install it, for example: CALLING PHONE NUMBERS DIRECTLY. Excuse me? How should the fryer be controlled? Read your contacts - no thanks, this is followed by those in my contacts who receive spam calls. Change or delete the contents of the USB memory. Take photos and videos. but those are the ones that bother me the most. But I like the air fryer itself. If you are reading this and thinking about buying one, I advise you to buy this air fryer. Just don't install the app. .
