I'll admit I'm lazy, I RARELY take the time to write a review, but I was impressed by this item. It's way better than I expected. The photos don't do it justice at all. It's VERY hard work - in a good way. It's actually difficult to move and adjust, but again that's good since you can position it exactly how you want it. Looks very expensive, but is quite affordable. The bottom of the stand is soft, as is the spot where the laptop rests. Everything is very well done. As I am currently working from home, my office has gotten hot. I assumed it was a laptop and I was right. I had no idea how much cooler my office would be with my laptop on a stand than when I'm lying flat. All the heat now rises away from me behind the laptop and not towards me. Whether you just want to elevate your laptop to eye level, use it to hide your laptop behind large monitors, or just try to create a warm office space, this is a MUST. My wife claimed that my first laptop was hers. so I just bought a second one.
