Received it today and already love it. It replaced the tri-fold canvas wallet I had for almost a decade and was starting to fall apart, leaving me casually looking for a new wallet. Then I lost it (wallet). So I jumped at it and thanks to all the positive reviews I ordered the Flowfold Vanguard, it's locally made (itself from New England), durable and vegan. You can buy a cheap vinyl wallet (for vegans) for less than $10, but then it's junk and will fall apart in a year. It's solidly made. Not only is the canvas unique, the stitching is tight with no loose ends, and the edges of the vinyl trim are cauterized to prevent fraying. I went for a neutral looking Vanguard style in black. The translucent regular style looks neat too, but personally I wasn't disappointed that the contents of my wallet showed through. Praise for being light and thin is no exaggeration. Filled with the contents of my old wallet, plus an extra card on top of that, it's many times smaller in width and weight. The fact that the cards are inserted horizontally from the center instead of vertically not only protects them better but also makes them shorter. It's actually big enough to hold US dollar bills. The top of the bills are flush with the top of the wallet. The inner plastic windows also appear to be very strong and durable, rather than cheap plastic that is said to crack after a few weeks. In general I am very satisfied. My only complaint, and hardly a complaint, is that after so many years of carrying a bulky wallet, it feels "too light and flimsy," to the point where I keep checking my pocket to make sure it's still there is. The paranoia will pass over time.
