I wanted to glue a 3D printed ABS project. There are probably many adhesives that are great for ABS plastic. The photo shows the glue I was going to use, which was purchased through Revain. This glue is quite "thin" but not as thin as super glue. The glue nozzle is quite wide and I thought it was too much glue for my project. So I ordered these applicator bottles. At first I poured quite a bit of glue into the bottle because I didn't know how the plastic of the bottle would react to the glue. The small applicator tip was perfect for applying the glue to my project. The glue I used was pretty quick, but not instantly like super glue. I glued a few pieces together and then waited a few minutes before continuing. The small applicator nozzle was now "clogged" so I had to switch to a new cap and this time the glue finished quicker. The caps may be "disposable" but maybe they could be "cleaned" if I do it fast enough. I figured I could use a very small number drill, but I didn't have one. I then used a very thin, stiff "wire" that came with my 3D printer and was used to unclog the 3D printer's nozzle. It worked fine. Anything you can put on a nozzle with a lid will also work. I've cleaned both the top and bottom of the cap, making sure the cap doesn't tip over once it's back on the bottle. The adhesive residues have not hardened in the applicator bottle. The next day, I was glad the lid nozzle was working properly again. These applicators should work with many liquids, although you may need to clean the nozzles and bottle between uses. Some thicker liquids may not work with a small orifice. Overall I was very happy with these applicators and the price. that the lid nozzle was working properly again.
