I am using this probe in a hydroponic system with a Raspberry Pi and an Adafruit ADS-1015 ADC. Setup was quick and easy and the device works more or less as expected. I calibrated the system using linear regression on Atlas Scientific standards at pH 4.0, 7.0 and 10.0. My pH reading code takes samples from this device 50 times and returns the average value. I repeat this three times, taking the average of the median and rounding it up to the nearest tenth of the pH. One would expect the pH to be fairly consistent on this scale using this method, but I see readings of +/- 0.2 pH on subsequent recordings. So it was useful for getting a general idea of a solution's pH, but I wouldn't recommend it for close monitoring. Also note that this device is NOT electrically isolated. This gave me a headache because the device works as expected for small samples, but when the probe is placed in a solution containing electric pumps, temperature sensors, etc., the pH drops by about 2pH.
