Updated review: Although I had concerns about durability these tights held up great. They snagged the first time they were put on, leading me to believe they needed to be replaced quickly. I wore them all summer with no extra hooks. The slight sucking noise went away after a few washes and to be honest I would wear them all day every day in the summer if it were socially acceptable. First review: After a few 100-degree days, I ordered these tights. Before ordering I only ridden in breeches with full seat. These tights are incredibly comfortable and cool. They are more slippery than full-size breech blocks, but once I started running I didn't notice it. Also, they make a little sucking sound when you send a message but don't leave any marks on the saddle. I wash them inside out to protect the handles. As you would expect, they snag easily, requiring replacement more often than jodhpurs. The biggest difference with these tights was my comfort after the ride. The sweat dried quickly and I felt very comfortable bathing and grooming my horse. I've decided to only wear them on the hottest days, but I'm glad they're an option.
